The computer courseware is designed for independent learning that allows (1 user) age 10-adult to go at their own pace and be taught in their individual learning style. This computer courseware is an implementation of the Discover Intensive Phonics for Yourself method. Consisting of 30 interactive lessons starting with the basic alphabet sounds, which moves quickly to multi-syllable words. There are 27 practice activities, using over 2800 words, to ensure mastery of the skills being taught. There are 4 periodic tests to check for understanding of the skills being taught. Previous lessons can be reviewed based on test performance. Performance scores are available to read and print.
